☘️A Day Trip to Dublin/Concert✨

Hello everyone!

I hope you are all doing well, sorry that I haven’t been posting for a while. Over the past month and a half, I’ve been doing nothing but studying from morning to late at night for my Christmas and end of term exams. Luckily, all my assignments and exams for this semester are over and I’m finally on Christmas holidays and can relax😭🥰 Are any of you on holidays?✨

I had this post prepared a while back but didn’t have the time to finish and upload it, so this post is a couple weeks old but I thought I’d share it anyways☺️

One of my friend’s and I went up to Dublin for the day as we had a concert to go to that night. Dublin was super busy and lively as usual☺️

It was my friend’s first time in Dublin city so we different shopping centre and shops☺️ These two photos were taken in St Stephen’s Green Shopping Centre, I think the interior is stunning😍 On the top level there’s a food court with different food stations varying from asian to mexican food, so that’s where we had lunch😊

We passed by this cute lane with warm lights and met a group of nice girls who otok some photos for us📷💡

In one of the lanes we stopped by a Bubble Waffle shop that also has bubble tea (one of my favourite drinks😍😍) I got peach tea with lychee popping bubbles😍🥤

My friend and I have massive sweet tooths so we were in heaven when we went into this American sweet shop🍭🍬 I kid you not…we spent an hour in the shop trying to decide what to get😂 Ultimately, I left with nothing much because everything was so overpriced😅😭

Victoria Secret had great sales going on and I love the wall at the back of the store where the stairs are, with all the mirrors and images😍✨

Dublin City is definitely one of the best places in Ireland to go for shopping😍 Although it’s always very busy😅 We went into the Disney shop and my friend bought a cute Thumper teddy🐰 We also went to my favourite shop in the city, which is Forbidden Planet😍 (a shop full of comic books, memorabilia for movies and comics etc) and bought a gift for my brother and a Lord of the Rings poster for myself, because if you don’t already know, I’m a humongous fan of LOTR😍🧝‍♀️

As the sun was starting to set, I managed to capture a couple beautiful photos from one of the bridges🌇🌉

The Academy was the venue for the gig and I was super surprised to see the amount of people who were in the queue and how diverse the age range was! The only reason I got tickets for Conor Maynard was because I was such a big fan of him when I was around 12 years old until my early teens. I knew it was going to be a nostalgic moment for me and the tickets weren’t expensive, so I thought, why not go😂. I hadn’t honestly listened to him properly in years, but the concert was amazing😂and I’m happy I went☺️

Casey Lowry was the guest performer that was the ‘opening act’ for the gig. I had never heard of him before, although my friend did, and he was fantastic. I definitely recommend giving him a listen! He was so down to earth and interacted well with the audience, which I appreciated!😊

Conor was amazing and made me feel so nostalgic😂 as if I was the 12 year old me again for the night✨ He also interacted well with the audience, as did his other guest performer for ANTH. Because the venue wasn’t the biggest, it was easier for us to feel closer to them and for there to be more interactivity. Overall, it was a great night😊

Thank you for reading🥰

  1. That sweetshop looks AMAZING! There is a small sweetshop where I live but likewise it is so overpriced. Glad to hear that you and your friend enjoyed the concert ✨ This post makes me want to go back to Dublin, I feel like I haven’t been in ages! I’d love to just spend the day exploring Temple Bar and getting a bubble wrap again 🤤 Great post as always lovely! ❤️
